Christian Science has blessed our family for the past thirty years. One instance that stands out to me was the birth of our second child. This was when we were quite new in Christian Science.

Our first child had been born before we had taken up the study of Christian Science. This birth had been very difficult, requiring instruments. For six weeks after the birth I remained bedridden. The doctor told me I should never plan on having any more children, that the results could be fatal.

A short time after that we became students of Christian Science through my husband's healing of tuberculosis. I learned, through study of the two textbooks, the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, that the false laws dictated by material medicine can be proved powerless through the understanding of divine law.
