When I was ten years old, Christian Science was brought into our home by a business acquaintance of my father's.

As far back as I could remember, I had suffered from stomach trouble, nervousness, and fear. After receiving Christian Science treatment, I had no more trouble with my stomach or nervousness, and fear gradually faded from my experience.

Besides healings of so–called childhood diseases, I had two outstanding healings. One was a healing of blood poisoning when a nail pierced my foot, and the other, a healing of a severe case of shingles.
