Man Is Never Deprived
Who has not at some time felt deprived of something good? Even when someone is grateful for the many proofs he has seen of God's care and provision, a corner of his thought may harbor a belief that somewhere he has missed out.
Fortunately, this cannot be true. Since God is All-in-all, there is not a single facet of one's experience in which God's tender love cannot be felt and understood.
In the story of the prodigal son, the father says to the son who had stayed with him, 'Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." Luke 15:31; This is exactly how it is with God's children. His allness is with each one of us, and it includes every quality and idea we will ever need.
