GOD'S ALLNESS

Sometimes, when it seems mocking tears,
frightening dreams, and false fears
would accent my smallness,
I think of God's allness,
and it melts them away—
I soar in the wideness of mercy, the tallness
of justice, in boundless purity.
I romp and I play
in genuine grace, which banishes space,
not in time but eternity, and lifts
on joyous wings
all things out of mortality.
