Ever Secure in God's Keeping

A friend, head in hand, explained to me, "I'm given to headaches, you know." But I didn't know any such thing. In fact, I knew just the opposite. Our heavenly Father-Mother God completely owns the only real man, His beloved, perfect child, and never gives him up to any discord.

I was reminded of an experience that proved this healing fact. I was flying to a distant destination. A terrific storm tossed the plane about as it would a fly in the air. Soon everyone around me, including the two hostesses, became airsick. The copilot collapsed in the galley. Never had I prayed harder to be mentally in tune with Truth to the exclusion of error.

So involved was I with affirming spiritual ideas that I was surprised when the woman seated next to me asked, "Aren't you given to airsickness?" "No", I replied. "I belong to God, and He doesn't give me up to anything." How grateful I was for that angel thought, which expanded in my consciousness to include every individual, both in the aircraft and everywhere in the world! In reality, everyone remains always in the arms of divine Love, in perfect comfort and safety.
