At an early age I was enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School by my mother, a registered medical nurse. She had witnessed the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science and wanted her children to be part of this wonderful movement. Later my mother joined The Mother Church and a branch church and received class instruction. Since that time our whole family has had the benefit of Christian Science, and we have received many healings.

I left the Sunday School during my college days and attended a branch church service only on rare occasions. But the truth taught in the Sunday School stayed with me, and I returned to join The Mother Church and a branch church fifteen years later.

It was during a severe business problem in human relations that I turned to the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and learned that God is in control in every human situation. I found that the business problem could be solved by a better understanding of God, who is Life, Truth, and Love. To my amazement and joy, just by studying the textbook, the business problem was resolved within forty-eight hours. Because of this quick healing I became a regular student of Christian Science.
