Let us lift up our heart with our hands (Lam. 3:41)

This is apparently to counteract hypocricy. Streane notes that the word translated "with" means literally "unto," adding the comment, "Let it not be a mere formal expression of prayer, but let our hearts follow the direction in which our hands point."
