With deep humility and much gratitude to God for His love for His children and to Mrs. Eddy for sharing her discovery of Christian Science setting forth Christ Jesus' healing method, I wish to tell of some of the healings our family have had.

At one time I contracted pneumonia. Much prayerful work was done, and a Christian Science practitioner was called for treatment. Breathing was difficult, so most of the time I spent sitting up. As I felt I was too ill to read, I listened to recordings of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Several days went by without any marked improvement. Then late one night, when I felt I was passing on, I realized the full impact of these words as if they were spoken in the room (Isa. 41:10): "Fear thou not; for I am with thee." I felt so uplifted that I soon fell into a natural sleep. In a few days I was back at work, well.

When I was a teen-ager, I had migraine. I went to a hospital for tests and examinations, but despite many consultations and treatments by specialists over a period of years there were no results. They are told me there was no cure. After reading and studying Science and Health, I was healed without any specific work done for the migraine. The healing has been permanent for over sixteen years.
