We Can Let Go of Error!
Evil does not have anything with which to cling to us! We cling to it. So why do we submit to it? What is involved?
There is a term frequently used in Christian Science which explains this attraction. It is animal magnetism. It seems, however, that some people do not readily understand the pseudo-operation of this seeming power. They do not realize that it is this action that is involved when evil seems to be inseparable from one's experience, though in fact it is not, as anyone can prove.
Magnetism is false. It is not a true force. Animal nature is not native to man, the son of God. Animal magnetism is animal in nature and magnetic in function, therefore it is unreal. One need not be a victim of it any more than one who has practiced moral qualities from early youth—honesty, for example—can be separated from integrity. Nothing could cause a truly Christian man to be dishonest. One has the same immunity from, say, sickness or hate, if he so realizes.
