"COME AND SEE"
John 1:38, 39
Two
hearing John the Baptist herald
in Jesus
Love's luminous Lamb
hurried with fierce heartbeats
to ask
Master, where dwellest thou?
He
answered them, Come and see, simply
who
owned no acre of land,
no co-op, mansion nor manger,
no matter-based house
built on sand,
but led men to summit rock,
sheer Mind's
indestructible substance
which stands
as man's eternal home
where thought
assumes earth-dominion,
commands
Lazarus to live,
and calmly
walks over angry world-waters.
