A Way to Meet New Tasks
Demands are sometimes made upon us to do things we have never done before: give a talk, write a report, take over a job, paint a house. How best can we prepare?
Often there are unknowns about a new task. So it's natural to ask: Can I respond rightly to the unpredictable? Do I have enough knowledge? Can I get things done quickly?
There is an important first step that can help answer these questions and give the assurance needed in approaching any new problem or assignment. It is spiritual preparation.
