In loving and sincere gratitude to God for the healings, joy, comfort, provision, and protection that Christian Science has brought into my life, I want to relate some of the experiences my family and I have had.

Children's diseases, colds, and coughs have been healed quickly in many cases. The oldest boy brought a note home from school during his first year that his tonsils needed to be removed, but the condition was healed through prayer, and there never was a second note in all the years that followed. Our third son brought home a similar note, followed by a visit from the school nurse, who asked us to have the tonsils removed. This was followed by another note requesting the parent to come to school with the child while the school doctor examined the throat. I went to school with our son, prayerfully maintaining the truth of man's perfection as a child of God. The doctor reported that there was no evidence that the tonsils needed to be removed, nor in the years that followed was there ever a different report.

One of the boys had a serious case of ivy poisoning. When Saturday morning came, I asked him to stay in his room with his copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and to pray about the condition. After a short while he came down and said, "It is all right now. Can I go out to play?" I looked and saw that the inflammation was gone. I knew he was healed, and he was.
