I wonder how the earth looks from the moon? Our American spacemen are now finding this out —and they are telling us what a thrill it is to look down from thousands of miles and see the blue-white shining earth spinning in space. If I were to have this view of the earth from the moon, I am confident that many thoughts and emotions would go through my mind.

First of all—I am sure I would have a new and greater appreciation of our planet Earth. Most of us are so busy seeing and thinking about what is wrong with the world that we do not take time or thought of its beauty and goodness. A popular writer some years ago coined the phrase "the good earth"—and I think I would think and feel that with real feeling and meaning from the moon.
