The importance of the lessons we learn as students in the Christian Science Sunday School...
The importance of the lessons we learn as students in the Christian Science Sunday School has appeared very clearly to me as a result of my experience in the past ten years. These teachings have given me a degree of understanding of man's true relationship with God as stated in the first chapter of Genesis.
At the age of seventeen I obtained employment which required my working Sundays, and except for a brief period thereafter my Sunday School instruction had been completed. I gradually began to drift away from the church through a lack of purpose, which was brought about by the pursuit of happiness through material satisfaction.
Later I served in the Armed Forces and during this time attended Christian Science services irregularly at different points but made no great effort to live in accordance with the teachings of Christian Science.
