Many years ago Christian Science was introduced into our home. I remember being very unhappy in other Sunday Schools. Then my mother placed me in a Christian Science Sunday School, where I adjusted happily right away. The teachers in this Sunday School helped me lay a sure foundation for a strong faith in God, good.

After our first daughter was born, an unforeseen toxic condition of the blood caused complications. I was in a coma for two days. A Christian Science practitioner visited me while I was still in the coma. After the practitioner had prayed silently at my bedside, I awakened and talked freely and very happily about our beautiful new baby girl. My recovery was so immediate that it was as if this nightmare experience had never happened, as, in truth, it never had happened to the spiritual idea of God.

One condition which yielded slowly was a persistent form of asthmatic attacks. The word incurable seemed to impose a barrier to health. Fear, exhaustion, and undue worry held me in bondage. Later I had the wonderful privilege of class instruction in Christian Science, and the clearer views of my God-derived nature as a child of God learned and put into practice completely healed the asthma. These are only a few of the many healings we have experienced.
