Christian Science first came to my attention when my mother took up the study of this Science. She gave me some copies of the Sentinel, which I enjoyed reading. The healings which took place in our family also encouraged me to take up this study.

Through the work of a Christian Science practitioner my brother was healed of gangrene in one treatment. My sister was healed of a bone injury. Christian Science was also a help to my husband in finding employment.

As I studied Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, I was healed of fear of lack, superstition, self-depreciation, and other false traits of character. I joined The Mother Church and a branch church and had class instruction.
