Our family has been blessed beyond measure through the application of Christian Science. We have raised three active sons, and have been able to overcome every discordant condition presented to us, including so-called children's diseases, earaches, convulsions, and broken bones, through the application of Christian Science.

Our oldest boy was healed of a cut eyeball when he was hit with a toy hoe. I cleaned the dirt out of the eye and put him to bed for the night, thinking that was all that was wrong. In the morning I was disturbed by the appearance of his eye. A relative was fearful and told me the eyeball was cut and his sight would surely be impaired. However, respecting our decision to work out the problem in Christian Science, he left the house for the day. When I called a Christian Science practitioner, the child stopped crying and never mentioned the eye again. In three days it was impossible to tell which eye had been hurt, and there has been no impairment of the sight.

Our youngest son was born tongue-tied. The doctor told me of this but did nothing for the boy since he knew we were students of Christian Science. Within six weeks the tongue was free, and beginning at an early age the child talked exceptionally well.
