Christian Science Is Logical
Logic may be defined as sound reasoning. The logic of Christian Science is eminently sound, as shown by the healing and regeneration that have resulted time after time from its application. One who approaches this Science open-mindedly finds it not only reasonable and understandable but practical, provable. Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health, "Christian Science, understood, coincides with the Scriptures, and sustains logically and demonstratively every point it presents." Science and Health, p. 358;
Logically, this Science begins with God. One who accepts Deity as the Bible declares Him to be has the basis for understanding all reality. The Scriptures state that God is Love, Spirit, Truth, the only cause and creator. He is infinitely intelligent, omnipotent and ever present, supreme. He governs all; He is good, perfect, and eternal. As one meditates on these truths and their meaning, he gains the conviction that God is and that His all-power is irrefutable and unopposed.
With this conviction one is prepared to draw logical conclusions regarding God's creation. Because God is Spirit, and is good and perfect, His creation, including man made in His image, is spiritual, good, and perfect. Because God, divine Mind, is the only creator, there can be nothing to create evil; therefore evil is without a source. It is unreal.
