A little over three years ago I was asked to stop work. A physical examination, including X rays, showed that a large part of my left lung was dark. It was further recommended that I consider undergoing thorough medical treatment at once.

The same evening I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help. He said that I should choose between medicine and Christian Science. I replied emphatically that having been a student of Christian Science for the last fifteen years, I had no hesitation in choosing Christian Science treatment. That same night, following the first treatment, I felt that the healing was taking place. However, much fear had still to be overcome, for I had been suffering on my left side and had fever. My temperature fell quickly, and I was able to continue my activity without interruption.

When I returned for examination as agreed upon, there were no more traces of the malady, and the healing was complete. This healing, which took place in four weeks, was entirely the result of the work of the Christian Science practitioner.
