The Reward

Jeanie's class in the Christian Science Sunday School was studying the Beatitudes. Each beatitude points to a state of thought that turns us to God. And each beatitude promises a reward for turning to God.

Now Jeanie and her classmates had been asked to make up a beatitude of their own.

"I don't know how to make up a beatitude. I can't think of one," she complained as she entered her mother's room to ask for help.
