During my lifetime I have never known or felt I wanted to know any religion other than Christian Science, for it has met my every need for physical healing and supply and in personal relationships, business transactions, and, in fact, in every way. I am eternally grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for giving us such a workable religion.

There have been innumerable proofs of the power of divine Love, many of which I have told in other testimonies. Now I wish to relate a more recent healing. On a cold winter morning when the thermometer registered ten degrees above zero I was horseback riding with a number of friends. As we mounted our horses, I said jokingly, "This isn't the day to fall off; the ground is frozen as hard as iron."

Failing to "stand porter at the door of thought" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mrs. Eddy, p. 392), I had let error into my thinking, with the result that about an hour later, when we were galloping hard and came to a trappy fence, my horse jumped so big that I was caught off balance and fell off, landing on my back on the frozen ground.
