Words of Current Interest
The words in this issue are the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on March 31, 1968.
It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven (Matt. 13:11)
These words of Jesus to his disciples clearly indicate that the kingdom is no longer "mysterious" to them in the modern sense. Scofield well indicates that "a 'mystery' in Scripture is a previously hidden truth, now divinely revealed." The New English Bible translates, "It has been granted to you to know the secrets of the kingdom of Heaven."
Whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more (Matt. 13:12)
