For the many healings and blessings our children and I have experienced through the application of Christian Science, I am most grateful. Our three children were protected from most of the childhood diseases, and measles and chicken pox were of short duration when they appeared.

After the birth of our second son the doctor who delivered this child found that I was suffering from what he termed complete nervous exhaustion. He recommended to my husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, that I be taken to a hospital for treatment. I was taken to one and remained there for two weeks. During this time a Christian Science practitioner worked constantly for me. No medication was given me at any time.

By the beginning of the second week the improvement in my condition was so marked that the nurses commented on it with amazement. The doctor in charge of my case, who knew I was a Scientist, said to me: "I hope you realize it was Christian Science which brought about this remarkable change. I could do nothing for you." I assured him I realized this fact, and I was most grateful that he acknowledged this Science as a healing religion.
