RADIO PROGRAM NO. 349 - "They shall recover"

[The speaker is Jack Krieger, who is active in the healing ministry of Christian Science. The questioner is Robert McKinnon, an interested inquirer.]

Questioner: Life has many challenges for all of us, but probably one of the hardest of all is to see a relative or close friend seriously ill. We all want to do what we can to help, but sometimes it seems very easy to become concerned that the sick individual will not fully recover. We try to cheer him up and see that the person is well taken care of. But what else can we do but give him some kind of hope to hold on to?

Speaker: Hope certainly is important to someone seriously ill. And by all means we have to see that he's properly cared for. But have you ever thought of offering hope that goes beyond mere words, hope based on the power of God, which makes full recovery possible?
