Many blessings have come to me through the study and application...
Many blessings have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science, and I am grateful.
My childhood was blessed when my mother, who had been ill for some years, was healed. Though many forms of medical treatment had been tried, the doctors were unable to help her, and she was told that if she lived she would always be an invalid. Her healing through Christian Science led my parents to enroll my sisters and me in a Christian Science Sunday School. We had the privilege of growing up in a warm, happy atmosphere, where divine Truth and Love met our every need. I have many times looked back with gratitude on my years in the Sunday School.
When married, I moved quite a distance from my former home. I was happy to be able to attend a Church of Christ, Scientist, where, though at first the faces were strange, the loving atmosphere was familiar. Often I have been grateful for this feeling of being at home when visiting our branch churches.
