Scientific Consistency
To be consistently good in thought and action may seem difficult, yet Christian Science declares that it is possible and is in truth the natural state of God's man. An individual may feel that he is living in a world where evil as well as good is active and quite often predominates in his affairs, causing sickness, sin, and lack of every kind. Through the study and practice of Christian Science this same individual finds that what he once believed true is no longer the case. In the degree that he learns to discard inconsistent modes of thought and action and practices scientifically consistent right thinking, he brings the law of God into operation in his life with harmonious effects.
The student of Christian Science learns early in his study of divine metaphysics that, as Mrs. Eddy states, "The starting-point of divine Science is that God, Spirit, is All-in-all, and that there is no other might nor Mind,—that God is Love, and therefore He is divine Principle."
