Two young Wycliffe Bible translators... found the frightened Katu tribesman in a hospital in Da Nang and persuaded him to help them learn his dialect.... After he had helped the girls a while, the Katu asked them why no one had come previously to tell his people about the true God....

The war has brought once-isolated tribes into contact with the outside world. No longer pressured to conform to primitive religion, young people especially are open to new ideas....
