How Do You Classify Yourself?

As a result of the present trend toward research in almost every field of human experience there seems to be a tendency to classify many things. Computers are given information gained from investigation into habits, customs, appearances, and even human thoughts. Then, through their highly developed mechanical processes, they provide statistics which are often used as a basis for social and economic plans. To human sense, these decisions affect all of us. Sometimes it seems as if our lives are not ours to control as in the days of more individualistic thinking.

Christian Science teaches that man is the image and likeness of God. Each spiritual idea is an individual, never part of a mass. The real man never lives in matter and hence is not subject to the pressures of limitation. His true status is his sonship with God. In the Glossary of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy defines man as follows; "The compound idea of infinite Spirit; the spiritual image and likeness of God; the full representation of Mind." Science and Health, p. 591;

How wonderful to free mankind from the limitations of mortal, finite mind through the understanding that the real man is the idea of infinite Mind, God! The man God made includes all right ideas. How can one classify such a man according to finite standards? He is unlimited in good. He is perfect, incapable of in-harmony and discord of any kind.
