When I was a young girl, my father was healed instantaneously of a severe case of stomach ulcers in one visit to a Christian Science practitioner. Since then many healings and blessings have come to me and mine as a result of Christian Science.
On a Wednesday evening, as I was crossing the street, a car struck me, and I was knocked unconscious to the pavement. I regained consciousness as someone lifted my head, and I heard, "There are no accidents in God's kingdom." I knew it was the voice of a fellow church member; several of my friends stood around me. The police arrived with an ambulance, and I was then rushed to the emergency room at a hospital. I am grateful that some of my friends followed and stayed with me while X rays were taken. I asked one of the friends to telephone a Christian Science practitioner.
