I desire to give thanks to God for the many blessings already received through the application of Christian Science. Some of these blessings include the healing of repeated attacks of quinsy and of travel sickness, and a quick recovery from pain.

It brings great joy to me to recall how each healing came about as the truth was applied. It was after a period of consistent study of the Lesson-Sermon, outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly, that I found I was free of quinsy and had been for a long time but hadn't realized it.

The healing of car sickness followed, and the healing of seasickness was proved during very stormy weather when I crossed the Atlantic both ways free from sickness. In my prayerful work for freedom from train sickness too, I was endeavoring to replace false pride, self-will, and self-consciousncss by their spiritual opposites—humility, obedience, and God-centered thought. This effort brought great enlightenment, and very shortly afterward I accepted an invitation as a church committee member to attend a group meeting.
