When our son was seventeen months old, an eruption appeared on his body. We were not particularly diligent in doing prayerful work to heal the eruption because at first it did not seem any more serious than a mole. However, it became obvious it was not a mole. At one stage it bled profusely. When this stopped, there was evidence of spreading.

At that time a dear friend, who had introduced me to Christian Science when I was a young child and who had helped me with prayerful work many times during the years, had just finished having class instruction and was in a position to spend much time with us in working on the healing.

We were not in the least tempted to resort to material means for help, but there was much fear to be overcome. Step by step false thinking was uncovered and replaced with the truth of man, and much love was needed for us to replace the wrong concept of man with God's perfect idea in all of our human relationships.
