In Psalm 107 we read, "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" This verse appears in that psalm four times. It is with sincere gratitude that I write this testimony praising God for His goodness and loving care.

Since I became an earnest student of Christian Science some twenty years ago, God has been my only physician. I have had many beautiful healings, some through my own understanding, others through the support of our practitioners. Healings of quinsy, colds, influenza, faulty elimination, a foot infection, and a gathering in one ear are just a few.

Sometime ago an intestinal disturbance caused me much discomfort. Through treatment given by a practitioner I received almost immediate relief. However, the healing was not complete, and in a few days the discomfort returned. This occurred several times. I very earnestly endeavored to get a better understanding of my true selfhood as the image and likeness of God by being more thorough in my study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and of Mrs. Eddy's other writings. In Science and Health we read (p. 571), "Know thyself, and God will supply the wisdom and the occasion for a victory over evil." I studied other truths of man, and the current Lesson-Sermon on "Man" from the Christian Science Quarterly was also an inspiration. I held steadfastly to the truths therein.
