RADIO PROGRAM NO. 260 - How Does Easter Relate to Modern Life?

Questioner: Many people wonder if the whole Easter story isn't just a beautiful legend. A young Jewish man is said to have risen from the grave. What can that mean to a young person today?

Speaker If the resurrection is a fact, it must be the most important fact in the history of the world. It throws light on what Life is, on the very nature of Life—not just ancient life or modern life, but Life itself.

Questioner: People interpret the resurrection various ways. Some believe in the actual physical resurrection of Jesus. Some believe in what they call a spiritual resurrection; that is, they believe that it was Jesus' spiritual presence rather than his physical form which the disciples became aware of. Now, when you speak of your belief in the resurrection, which do you mean?
