"Rapid transit to heaven"

Mrs. Eddy writes, "Mortals who on the shores of time learn Christian Science, and live what they learn, take rapid transit to heaven,—the hinge on which have turned all revolutions, natural, civil, or religious, the former being servant to the latter,—from flux to permanence, from foul to pure, from torpid to serene, from extremes to intermediate."^{Miscellaneous Writings, pp. 205, 206;}

What could more perfectly illustrate this "rapid transit to heaven" than Christian Science treatment? Since it is a direct application of Truth, it is the surest way to dispel error and arrive at health and well-being. God's law knows no delay, no retardation, no irregularity; it manifests ever-present divine Principle. We read in the Bible, "The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."^{Hebr. 4:12;}

The value of this ever-available transforming power was proved in the life of a young Christian Scientist who was suffering from the effects of an automobile accident. Walking was very difficult for him, and an insurance official expressed concern over what he felt could be permanent damage to the Scientist's kneecaps.
