Peter Sees Dick the Right Way Up
[Of special interest to children]
Peter returned home from school one afternoon, walked into the room, and flung his schoolbag on the floor. His mother looked up from her sewing in surprise, for he usually took great care of his belongings; and she saw that he seemed to be very cross and miserable.
"Hello, Peter," she said gently. "What is the matter?"
"It's Dick!" he burst out angrily. "We used to be good friends at school; and now he just teases me and says he doesn't like me, and gets me into trouble with the teacher! I'm just going to hit him hard when I get to school tomorrow!"
