Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for Christian Science

Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I was reared in Science, but it was not until after my marriage that I began to cherish the religion that I had often taken for granted while growing up.

Mrs. Eddy says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 277), "No evidence before the material senses can close my eyes to the scientific proof that God, good, is supreme." This is one of the many statements in the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings that I studied during the months before our daughter was born.

At the time of delivery, things did not develop as they should. I clung to the statement quoted above. The attending physician told m husband that if the baby did not come within half an hour, he would have to operate; and he was apprehensive about doing so. The practitioner with whom I had been working in Christian Science was called, and within the prescribed time the baby came normally and harmoniously.
