What Marilyn Saw
[Of special interest to children]
Marilyn liked to draw pictures and to compose poems and to read good books. She especially loved the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which tell about God and His love for children.
One day Marilyn quietly opened the back door and stood there for a moment with a sad look on her face. Her mother came to greet her. "Why, Marilyn, where's that beaming smile?" she asked.
"Oh, Mother, I just couldn't read any of the words on the blackboard at school today. The teacher had to move me up in front, and still the words were blurry."
