I wish to testify to some of the many blessings that have come to me since I took up the study of Christian Science. My physical healings have been many and wonderful, but the outstanding blessings are the inner peace and serenity I have experienced since I have come to understand something of the truth of God and His creation and of the demonstrable spiritual law of God, which governs all things.

I was greatly in need of healing, both mentally and physically, when my brother was introduced to Christian Science, and I was grateful to receive from him a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I read it through quickly at first, as it was all so new to me. Then I went back to the beginning of it and really studied it.

Every winter I suffered from severe colds and influenza which kept me in bed for days and often left me feeling useless for weeks. Shortly after I began to study Christian Science, I had one last session of this kind, and since then I have been virtually free from colds. Other discords which just faded out of my experience during my first study of the textbook were rheumatism, acute indigestion, a heart condition, severe periodic headaches, and an internal difficulty of long standing, dating from the birth of my first child.
