The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on June 26, 1966.
Comforter (John 14:16)
This important word has a wide variety of meanings. In the present verse the Revised Standard Version has, "Counselor," and The New English Bible, "Advocate." Phillips paraphrases the concept of "another Comforter" in the words, "Someone else to stand by you."
