At one time in my life I was critically ill in the hospital with a heart condition and uremic poisoning. My husband was told by the attending physicians that they could do no more for me. I had heard of Christian Science through a dear neighbor and had had proof of its healing efficacy. In my despair I asked my husband if he would let me ask for help in Christian Science, and he very lovingly gave his consent.

When the physicians heard I was leaving the hospital, they told my husband they would not be responsible for me. He replied that it was my wish to leave and that he would stand by me in my decision.

I was removed from the hospital to the home of a Christian Science nurse. A practitioner was called and treatment was begun. In less than three months I was completely healed.
