Don't Cry, Listen!
[Of special interest to children]
Did you ever stop to think how little we hear when we are crying? We can't hear either Mother or our friends call us, and we can't hear the angel thoughts from God.
Penny had been going to the Christian Science Sunday School for two years. Still it seemed hard for her not to cry when she fell or when she did not have her own way. She and her mother had talked about this many times.
One day Penny seemed to be having an extra hard time trying not to cry. Early in the morning she and Mother sat down to find the angel thoughts that would help her. "Tell me about Noah," Penny urged. She had learned about Noah and the ark in Sunday School, and it was her favorite story. Mother explained that Noah was safe in the ark during the flood because he had listened to God.
