One night I became paralyzed so that I could not move my body
One night I became paralyzed so that I could not move my body. I tried to help myself as we are taught in Christian Science, and this promise of God to Jeremiah came to me (33:3): "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." And Hymn No. 123 from the Christian Science Hymnal gave me much comfort when the suggestions of fear and discouragement, tried to enter my thought. In the hymn are these words:
I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand.
Upheld by My gracious, omnipotent hand.
