God's Healing Power Is Ever Present

One of the more comforting words in our language is the word "healing." Students of Christian Science know that regardless of what problem may seem to be confronting them, whether it is sickness, unhappiness, or evil of any kind, the healing power of divine Love, God, is ever available and constantly operative in their behalf in any place and at every moment.

What seems at times to make problems, especially those of sickness, is the fearsome belief that one can be alone and that one is separated from God. But one can never be alone, for, as both the Bible and Christian Science teach, God is everywhere and always present. Christ Jesus certainly made it very clear that one can never be separated from God when he said, "I and my Father are one." John 10:30: And the Psalmist wrote: "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there." Ps. 139:7,8:

Healing evidences the power and love of God meeting the human need. To understand that God's healing power and love are always with us and that we as His reflections are always actually in His presence, quiets and even destroys the fear that comes when we feel separated from God. Mrs. Eddy writes, "Let us rid ourselves of the belief that man is separated from God, and obey only the divine Principle, Life and Love." Science and Health, p. 91:
