Ageless Being
We learn in Christian Science that God is the divine Principle of being, and this Principle is ageless, "the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebr. 13:8: The Bible tells us in the first chapter of Genesis that man was made in God's image and likeness, and it therefore follows that man must express ageless being. It is necessary, however, to make a distinction between man, made in God's likeness, spiritual and perfect, and the false concept of man as material and subject to material conditions. Christian Science teaches us how to do this.
Mrs. Eddy states, "Man in Science is neither young nor old." Science and Health, p. 244: And we also read: "Life and its faculties are not measured by calendars. The perfect and immortal are the eternal likeness of their Maker." p. 246;
Through a right understanding of God and man the limitations associated with the material beliefs regarding age can be overcome. Recognizing God as the divine Principle of being and man as His likeness, we can destroy the fear of age or incapacity. Man is a spiritual idea, always governed and controlled by divine Mind; and knowing this, we can manifest harmony in every detail of our being.
