Christian Science was introduced to me by one who had experienced a physical healing through its beneficent ministration. At that time I was not consciously looking for physical healing, but I was searching for something more applicable to the problems of everyday experience than was offered by the orthodox teaching in which I had been reared. The reading of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which had been lent to me by my friend, convinced me that in this teaching I could find the answers for which I had been searching. For more than fifty years Christian Science has met my need.

During the period that I was active in the business world, Christian Science provided me with the needed guidance in finding the solution to varied business problems; moreover, members of my family and I have also experienced physical healings.

One case was that of a severe pain in my back and leg. I cannot say what it would have been called, as no physical diagnosis was made. I became aware of it while on an automobile drive. I endeavored to realize the truth. This brought some relief, but the pain continued to appear and disappear at intervals. After returning home, I became busy with my work, and no further attention was given to the problem.
