Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord (II Pet. 1:2)
Phillips well suggests the thought of this verse by rendering it. "May you know more and more of grace and peace as your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord grows deeper";while the Anchor Bible has, "Grace be with you, and may peace abound through intimate knowledge of God and Jesus, our Lord."
His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness (II Pet. 1:3)
