I wish to express my sincerest gratitude for the fact that Christian Science has come into my life. I was a non-Christian before I came to know this wonderful Science. The truths and clear logic of its teachings so impressed me that I felt at once it was the only religion I could accept. Many healings have been experienced by my family through Christian Science, and by relating some of these I hope others will feel encouraged in their own practice of this wonderful religion.

When my youngest son was three years old, he complained of stomach pains and did not want to take in anything but water. Even so, he could not retain the water. I rejected the suggestions of discomfort and illness by clinging to the spiritual fact that man is God's perfect son, always in perfect health.

Toward evening the situation became much worse. I kept refuting the thoughts of mortal mind that were coming to me. In the night, however, when the boy's condition did not improve, I became quite fearful. My first impulse was to telephone the practitioner, although it was in the middle of the night; but then I realized that sometime, somehow, I had to learn to take my own stand.
