The perfection of a healing through Christian Science brings a joy and an assurance unmatched by any other method.

When I was in college, before becoming a serious student of Science, I sustained a badly damaged ankle. There followed weeks of medical treatment. And then, for years afterward, the ankle was weak and always ached in wet weather. A startling contrast to this experience was presented in an incident after I had turned completely to Christian Science.

I injured that same ankle and fell heavily upon it. At first I could not move, but right away I began to repeat "the scientific statement of being" from page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I did this aloud and emphatically because the situation seemed so serious.
