Turning to God for Guidance
Almost everyone has been faced at one time or another with making a decision on which his happiness depended. At such a time the only wise thing to do is to turn to God for guidance, and if one is a Christian Scientist, that is naturally what he will do. He wants to make the decision that will be helpful to others, as well as to himself. He understands that everything will be revealed to him which he should know, because God, the all-knowing Mind, is ever present and causing His children to reflect His wisdom.
Mrs. Eddy never failed to ask God to guide her, and she taught her students to turn to God first in every situation and then to follow Him.
God is continuously imparting His spiritual ideas to His beloved children. If we understand this truth, we shall have all the intelligence and all the ability we need to perform any required duty.
