"There is no power apart from God" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 228). For the daily opportunity of proving this statement, I am grateful.

I began attending the Christian Science Sunday School as a child, and many healings were brought about through Christian Science treatment. When I was in high school, an infected condition, accompanied by blood poisoning, developed on my hands. I decided to rely completely on God, Truth. With the faithful help of a practitioner, the healing began to take place immediately and was complete in two weeks.

I am grateful to be rearing our own children in Christian Science, and I am also grateful for an understanding husband who, though not a Christian Scientist, consents to my having Science treatment for our children.
